I must have chosen Renaissance Man as a career option. I paint, draw, sculpt, write, and do photography.
Or put less charitably, "jack of all trades, master of none."
== Say in NOW, Say it LOUD, I'm a Hack, I'm not PROUD! ==
The joy of the creative life is there are no standards, no goals, no limits. Just do whatever you feel like doing to the fullest extent of your skills, facilities, faculties, and creativity.
Of course, it helps if everything is on hand, working, the Muse is making regular deliveries, and you're not tuckered or psyched out from your day job (or in my case, the overnight job).
I've been exhibiting at SF convention artshows since '76.
Starting in '86, I've been writing supplements for role playing games. You can find a list at http://www.pen-paper.net/rpgdb.php?op=showcreator&creatorid=2327
The best known is THE ULTIMATE POWERS BOOK, a treatise on comic book superpowers. You can find it on EBay or download it from the web.Â
As for photography, I'm using a 1976 Minolta SLR, a pair of 1.3 Mp Sanyo digital cameras, and an 8 Mp Canon S5. My computer is a HP Pavilion 4550Z, vintage 1999.
And I have webbed toes.
So does Dan Ackroyd, Madeline Stowe, and one of the Dixie Chicks. Ackroyd and I share the same attitude, "The toes prove I'm a mutant."

Nice picture. The x-ray technician should have had her remove the metal objects. The dark shadows in front of her hip bones and in her pelvis are air pockets in her colon. The spinous process on her 4th lumbar vertebra is crooked (not unusual) = level of her navel. Her diaphragm is pulled down and rather flat due to a deep breath. The dark shadow below her diaphragm on the right is air in her stomach. The two light shadows below her diaphragm are the lower edges of her breasts. The dark areas above her diaphragm are due to air in her lungs (x-rays go straight through air - no resistance). - I'm an anatomist, by the way. Cool posting!

Ahh, at last, Jean in a true see through outfit. Sorry, couldn't resist the joke.

It is indeed fascinating, and thanks too for T.Rex's comments as they added much to my understanding and answered several questions I had. More people should do this. When I had open heart surgery I asked my doctor to take a few photos of my exposed heart — quite an experience to see your own heart!

Well done! Not your everyday Renderosity piece. Thanks for the image & the breath of fresh air! Also, THANKS to T Rex for explaining what is going on here!

Somehow this is not how I imagine the lovely Jolene. However, it is interesting and different.

xrays (radioactive radiation) might be intresting but theire cumulative effect of giving you cancer is not!
