I love this painting,Nikolay, very much!! The luminous orange colour behind, opens the scene like a way-out,for me,of course...It's amazing! I can see in your abstract two persons, and one is going away, but the other not. Thank you and BRAVO.

Simply striking image, desolation - but not around these two characters, nice blending of tones and digital painting effects, BB

Amazing how your photographic sense is present, though transformed, in your 2D. The piece has a few strong elements, they're against a mysterious background, they pose unexplainable questions (of the heart as much as of the eye), and there is dialogue between all the parts. Something you do in some of your photographs. It's about empty feelings, but like all your work, there are layers of emotion in addition. These two pillars are 'beings'; yet there seems to be---to my & Ana's eye---a being on top of each pillar, like little mice-people, ie small creatures who are sitting top these looming pillars to find something, or just to share a distended moment. I agree with Ana again, that one being appears to be going away, or at least is looking into the distance; while the other (ie, the left-most character) is looking at the departing one, unable to cross the chasm between them. Affirmingly, your little "beings" atop these pillars have a sweetness to them, an endearing quality which makes them dear to us, beings we want to protect. And maybe the 'departing' one doesn't leave without regret...Your background hues set apart the pillars very subtly (I love your color sense here): You use darkened edges to intensify their separation from the background. And the hues---oranges to purples to these slate green-blues---are very inward, very reflective. As in so many of your other works, these piers all have a presence/identity that indicates 'history' in each pier, even though we don't know what that history is; which makes me think of that nail in a wall & many other such small 'beings', and their presence and sense of 'a history'. Amazing how you do that. Also, your fades are subtle & beautiful, and there appears to be an ever-so-faint hint of another pillar on the right side, maybe another being looking on (or not caring about these two). You'll probably think I'm being overly praising once more, but truly, this shows the same mastery I see in your other work, full size this is a beautiful & intimate work, that haunts & entices at the same time. And it all has a dreamy 'out of thought' feeling to it, right alongside your ever-present inner clarity...
