I really like this ... the appearance of the dragon is subtle but forceful as well. Well done.

Nice composition, Rick. The dragon certainly looks impopsing. As a fan of the RUNEQUEST board games and RPGs since the mid to late 1970s, I have a soft sport for Dragon Pass, a place in the WHITE BEAR RED MOON, fantasy boardgame published in 1975. Its third reprint was renamed DRAGON PASS, and I believe that there was even a computer RPG made of it.. Runequest was a complete fantasy world, which is still going in Role Playing form, although I have never used a dragon in it. I am sure that Dragon Pass would have had at least one dragon ... ;o) Warm regards, on a damp, drizzly, Glasgow, October weekend, John..

Perhaps add some trees and texture the ground in the foreground, and this image will be truly superb. Love that late afternoon feel and the sheen on the water. Have to say I still feel a certain partiality towards your early work in Bryce. :)
