Work is progressing slowly but still, its looking more & more complete, this is what a british or canadian trooper would have looked like during the normandy landings, some canadian & british troops were wearing the MkIII Helmet such as the 3rd infantry div (brit) & the regiment de la chaudiere (can). Finally got to the boots, had a b... of a time trying to get the right shape, its now getting there. Added missing brass fittings & straps, completed the small pack attachments with the L straps added rolled ground sheet & folded blanket. Added a canvas bandolier for additional ammo with the bayonet frog & made the brit style spade (shovel). And of course what's a Tommy without his mug of tea: the enameled tea mug.
