Description

Although “Perithanatic” is a real word, it is a bit obscure for most dictionaries. It means “near death”. So the title of today’s offering literally means ~near death revelation~ The literature abounds with individual descriptions of this phenomenon. It pertains to experiences people have related after having been clinically dead (and subsequently resuscitated) or near death. These descriptions range from little children describing the experiences in crayon drawings, to aged people on their deathbeds. I am fascinated by this, not because I am in any way morbid, (heaven forefend!) but because the commonality of description between unrelated parties, seems to me to exceed coincidence. Many books have been written on this subject, and I have read some of the more reputable ones. I have attempted here to depict what appears to be the consensus. I am not attempting here to say what it means, but rather to portray what people have described. Thank you for visiting me, and for all your generous support. That, I assure you, has meaning for me! Created in Ultra Fractal.

I am at a total loss for words here Stan! What you have accomplished with this fractal is nothing short of astonishing. The atmoshophere is perfect for the setting. The sense of depth is serious and the muted colors are very soothing. I have not had a near death experience myself, but if i ever do i hope it is as pleasant as this presentation.

A glorious image, which certainly does justice to what people have experienced in their "near-death status". I too have read a lot about it. This image is a beautiful view and painting of it. Superb coloring and design, Stan.
