Description

UF5/PSP Thank you for stopping for a look. Any and all comments are always appreciated. Today's newton fractal is from the excact same formula as the one i did last saturday Oct 9th, (saturday saturation). This one my focus was different. On saturday i was concentrating on using shadow and light to give the image the perception that the newton was well above the background. Today's offering is more just working on bringing out the detail of the newton so it is raised like a relief map that shows elevations. Have a terrific thursday!

It's lovely and the highlights show up very well.. I like what you have done here. They remind of huge waterlily leaves, and I expect Thumbelina to appear any moment:-)

A beautiful luminous, intertwining floral star. The large stuffed leaves, come into their own, with the effect of embossing (I guess) Bravo, Jim!

Wow! The reality on this is amazing. It is a lot more than just showing the 3D relief perspective (which you do perfectly). This looks like a high resolution macro of a section of an antique wood carving. Like the filigree on a jewel box for example. Or a door panel in an old European villa. This also exemplifies one of my favorite qualities of much of your work: your very sophisticated taste of subdued coloring. I am not sure it can be taught, you either have it or you don't. And you certainly have it. A beautiful piece!
