Description

I built this model of a bridge I recently "discovered" outside of a small town in North central Oregon. I was captivated by the 1920's era design. I decided I needed a matching background to put it in so after a little bit of experimenting this is the result. I'm not much of a landscape artist yet, but hopefully this didn't turn out too bad. I borrowed a terrain shader from one of Rexus's excellent Carrara scenes available in the FreeStuff here at Renderosity and populated the background with a combination of trees, plants, and rocks from HowieFarkes, and some of my own. Bridge, guardrail and 1930's car built in Wings3D. I had to have a driver in the convertible, so I grabbed Aiko from the Carrara runtime. This is the first time I've added a DAZ figure to one of my renders, heh, heh.'55 Buick is from an old disk I had laying around and I don't know who made it, but it seemed to fit. Thank you very much for looking.

It is a really nice bridge, and I think you did justice for it.

Looks a lot like the one outside of Madras, nicely done! You should try your hand at the St Johns Bridge in St Helens, that would be a great project too. Beautiful work!

Great composition, POV and lighting, my friend. Nice work on construction of the bridge. The trees look quite right, and definitely not out of place. Nice touch of the rough water further back, too. Warm regards, from a leaf strewn Glasgow ( the only time the streets are paved in gold ), John.

Wow! I love all that forestry! I've done almost squat with landscapes in Cararra, I really need to get more into it I think. Once again, this is really sweet looking!
