Description

If Captain Ron isn't adding to his lighthouse with the driftwood that washes up on shore, he's probably inland, fishing for those fat trout he likes. Dedicated to the late Ron Pelley, one of the top Brycers I've ever known. His art is amazing for Bryce and stands up against most other 3D programs as well. It's that rare form of digital art where I forget I'm looking at something computer generated. When 3DCommune folded last November, I lost contact with Ron and most others. I didn't find out he passed away in December, until recently and wanted to make something in his memory. The building was made with all terrains and lattices a few years ago and rebuilt into a lighthouse. 147 terrains and 6 lattices and a handful of primitives at last count. The style is not supposed to be architecturally precise, but a bit looser like it was made with spare lumber and spare parts. Treat yourself by checking out Ron's work. Thanx for sharing the links to Ron's work. I had not ever seen his website. It is very impressive. I had to look at each and every piece there! How did he do that?! Very very intricate, and as stated on his site... "the light is used to stunning and deliberate effect." Thank you for reminding us of him. Okay, now that I have praised Ron's work, I must say that he can't hold a candle to your creativity and imagination!

I had no idea about Ron's passing. He did the most realistic Brycing I ever saw. Thanks for the information and thanks for sharing this unique dedication.
