Description
This is the canal in the park of Villa Contarini. It feeds the lake and the fish ponds, and it offers a beautiful path with some statues and fancy stone benches where to sit in spring and summer to rest. Obviously if you don't fear mosquitoes... but this is another story... It also leads to the ice-house.
The building in the background, lined by the willow trees is the back of an outside building close to the villa, possibly a shed for boats.
