Description

His gladiatorial name is "The Gorgon" and he wears symbols of the most feared of all the gorgons, Medusa. He fights with no shield, but two swords, and his two trained Bengal tigers. For him, they purr, for any they face on the sand they are death with fangs and claws. Today as this trio enters the arena all three roar a fearsome challenge to any who would face them... This is a big image, please ZOOM to enjoy the details...you won't be disappointed! :) In this scene I enjoyed using the fabulous Spartacos character and Spartacos armor by Joanna (StudioArtVartanian). I love stories and images of ancient Rome and this character and outfit are superb for themed renders. I spent a lot of time tinkering with light and depth of field in DAZ in this image. I did about a dozen renders with different variations of light and dof, and finally settled on this one. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking and for you comments! I appreciate your support! Thanks also for all the comments and favs on my previous image "Seek and Destroy":

Well the fiddling around paid off as this is a great scene. Almost looks like he could walk out of my computer screen. Excellent job.

:-) Methinks your love of this historical era is peeking through a little here, Marco. What I like is the celebratory mood of the scene.  & What I really like is how you have his body posture: just slightly leaning back as he draws to a pause in mid-step .. so to taunt us with robust delight.  :-D A truly great action moment in time. Really worth the time and attention to bring it together.  & A pleasure to view. With warm regards, Terry

the posing and the scene are excellent... the leg wraps get too much of my attention - they make his legs look small and the color on them really makes me look ant the blue bottems... but, that's more of a product design, not an artist's render... I do like this and hope to see more.

Great scene. I love the way you've used the tigers to "frame" the main character. Really well balanced composition.
