Description
This is designed from reference of Gir, the robot from Invader Zim. It's some cartoon on Nick. Anyway, I'm designing it for someone who has kids who really like that show. It's a wip.

it seems you used some glow, maybe post-rendering. Can you tell us how did you do that? It gives softness to the image, it's very well used.

The glow look you see is the depth of field. Cinema does not apply the dof smoothly but it is accurately placed. What I do is render the image without the dof option at the desired size, then render it once more at a smaller size with textures, lights and smoothers off but the dof option on. The second render is the reference I use to look at so I can apply the depth correctly in photoshop with the blur tool.

hi! you make amazing characters! i am working now on such character (little and funny) to go on with my robot_project...updates will follow! but one thing...this is a concept. do u plan to add some details or is this the guy he should look like??

DXtreme, I plan on extremely texturing this guy and adding more details. There will be a huge contrast in comparison to what you see here.
