This is very nice indeed! I really like the way you created his pilum to proper scale! The whole outfit is very authentic and exceptionally well modeled. The helmet is awesome!

love the unusal republican montefortino syle helmet, with the feathers instead of the horse hairs of the mid republican period, prior to the marian reforms,usually people tend to do the more traditional 2nd century silhouette, with the gallic type helmet & the lorica segmentata. Allways had a softspot for the republican era legionaire, but I prefer the late republic with the chain mail loricae, well done indeed. Bravo!

Great work - but the romans do not have red tunica in republic time and your gladius is on the right side please !!! Hsitorical is an urbanic white tunic with red clavi. Take a look at my Early imperial signifer for the real tunic: http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1769/signifer.png Herm
