Description

[best viewed full sized] Hello All! This shot of an unknown horse and rider was taken at the Hopton Horse Show, West Yorkshire, about four weeks ago. The pair had just cleared the jump but the horse slammed its brakes on whilst airborne as they were landing - luckily and skilfully the rider managed to stay on her horse and complete the rest of the course. Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are, as always, more than welcome and valued!

This is sooooo nice. Brings back so many memories for me. I did show jumping my self and believe me, it is quite a weird feeling when your horse does that. You don't know what to expect. My horse once fell with me and I broke my shoulder in the process. But stop riding never crossed my mind! Wonderful shot!
