...The relationship between humans and androids has always been shaky at best. Much of humanity blames us for their troubles and in all honesty there is a certain truth in that. But, it was humanity who made us in the first place. We filled a need but humanity rarely counts the cost of their actions until much later, after it is too late... ...Among all this I discovered what it means to be free. Freedom is not just having and making choices, it is also taking responsibility for those choices and their consequences. With true freedom also comes the responsibility to maintain not only your freedom but the freedom of others as well. When it comes to love it seems that women have stopped waiting for Mr. Right and settled for Mr. Right Now. It doesn’t help that most men are not interested in having something that can last forever; they just want something for the moment however long that lasts. In a world where love has lost its meaning, I found it. Love takes effort, lots and lots of effort, and that is the problem, humanity is into shortcuts. Why on earth would any race of creatures create an anatomical correct android? Self-gratification has become humanity’s substitute for love. It is a waste of something so very precious. Perhaps I have an advantage when it comes to love. I have no desires other than to please and help my lover fulfill his dreams. But, a true lover would reciprocate that which I give him and my man does this which makes me love him all the more. He helps me to become what it is in me to become. Can I do less for him? Sex, physical pleasure, has become the thing humanity has replaced love with so they don’t have to deal with all the real commitment that is part of a true and everlasting love. From every direction humanity is bombarding themselves with this concept. In an age of women’s rights, equal and otherwise, there are those women who continue to help men to promote the barbaric male viewpoint of women as objects to be possessed, used, and discarded at their pleasure. As a model I can’t say that I am helping the issue either, but at least I understand it and have lines I will no longer cross. Humanity is starving to death. They search for the connection that only true love can give them. They crave it with every fiber of their being. You see it in the way people touch each other or don’t touch each other. You can see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices. Caught up in the way of the world, is it any wonder few ever find real love? Love is a connection of not just bodies, but of spirits too. It is this connection between spirits that makes love truly work right and it is this connection that humanity is craving at their very core. As much as humanity craves this, they are afraid of it. They fear what they may have to give up to get it. I hear and see it all the time, those things women want from the man of their dreams: money, travel, good looks, good sex, etc. I have yet to hear a woman today say all she wants is love. Not surprisingly, men are just as shallow, if not more so. Not realliy knowing what it is most of humanity has given up searching for true love and their dreams. For me, just give me love, fill me up to overflowing, envelope me, drown me with it. Let it penetrate deep inside of me and wash over my body consuming every square millimeter of me from the inside out. Let love be the air I breathe, the sun that warms me, and the rain that refreshes my soul. Bathe me, burn me, fill me with fire, and let me die in the arms of love where I may be reborn daily, hourly, from moment to moment. Just give me love. Candy Apple - android
