Description

. . . you don't have to turn on the red light . . . Anyways, another trial and error with Poser. I'm still very frustrated that I can't get the lighting right just yet, but I'm sure that will come with practice. Minor postwork in photoshop. Additional Credits: High Heel Pumps by idler168 (DAZ - with Poser I can finally get them to attach properly!!)

As a portrait artist you are probably always going to be a bit frustrated with poser as opposed to DAZ. DAZ just does a better job on portraits, it is naturally softer. Poser does better for scenes. And the light sets that come with native poser are sucky. Light sets by DM work great in poser and will give you a good start that you can tweak as you need.

Thanks brewgirlca! I'm also looking at some light sets from Nikisatez and Viki176 . . . I will take a look at your suggestion as well. (LOL! And here I thought having 6+ years of theatre lighting experience under my belt that might make lighting these portraits in Poser a bit easier, but nope! LOL!)
