Description

Catching this hyper-wriggly "Tiger Moth Caterpillar" (according to Uncle Herby's "Butterfly Hunting Guide for Dummies and/or Woodies") was not as easy, as it might appear to the unexperienced viewer! The quote "Dr. DeadWood, I presume?" became not as famous as "Dr. LivingStone I presume?". Well, at least these Woody expeditions were the winner of the "Darwin Award".... each year.... for over two decades!! ;) Hints/credits/information: - Bryce4 scene and render. No postwork besides of increasing contrast and adding frame. - Actually, I am not too happy with this final render/version... but grew too impatient with further tweaking and its render times.... ;) - The static tiger mesh and its texture were Freestuff from "Dedicated Digital". (I slightly tweaked the texture and bent the tail in Cinema4D.) - Pith helmet is Poser Freestuff from "Chris Cox". - The jungle is made of bamboo meshes (from "planit3d", with my texture based on a Bryce4 default mat) and a huge cylinder with a green Volumetric Mat. - The distant background (hidden in hideous haze) is a photo of bamboo in our own garden. - Some furniture meshes are from RayDreamStudio 4/5.

Hee... Hee, making those poor fellows also carry the 'john'...! This is a crazy scene and I would assume it to suck my poor cpu flat just trying. Terrific results.
