Το ήξερες... Πρόσωπα σκυθρωπά στο συμβούλιο... Λίγοι πολεμιστές έμειναν πια... Σε ξύπνησαν άγρια χαράματα... Μόλις που πρόλαβες να την αγκαλιάσεις... Μόλις που πρόλαβες ν' ακούσεις το κλάμα του... Εδώ, στο λόφο της Άρτεμις με βήμα γοργό... Μία χούφτα άνδρες... Για να μπορέσουν να φύγουν τα γυναικόπαιδα... Είχε βγει ο ήλιος... Μαζεύτηκαν στην πεδιάδα... Φονιάδες και μισθοφόροι απ' τ' δυτικά, πλιατσικολόγοι... Τρία κύματα επιτέθηκαν ουρλιάζοντας... Το ένα μετά το άλλο... Ατελείωτοι... Γέμισε η πλαγιά με κουφάρια... Κομμένα μέλη, άλογα που ψυχορραγούν... Αίμα, λάσπη και περριτώματα ανάκατα με οιμωγές... Και τώρα έχουμε μείνει μόνο εμείς... Εδώ τον παγωμένο αέρα... Λίγο πριν το τέλος... Ατάραχοι... Ασάλευτοι... Οι τελευταίοι... Όρνια κράζουν ήδη... Ο τάφος ανοίγεται μπροστά μας... Ξεχασμένοι στην ομίχλη του μύθου... Για την τελευταία μας προσπάθεια... Μέχρι την τελευταία μας πνοή... Γιατί αυτό είμαστε... Η τελευταία γραμμή... My try for translation, sorry if isn't good ........................................................................
