Description

Thank you for stopping by. I really appreciate all you views and comments on all my last posts. Yesterday afternoon as I was folding laundry I heard this amazing drumming coming from the block below somewhere. Of course, I had to investigate and with camera in tow came upon this little garden oasis artist workshop community. I had known it existed and seen performance art there on occasions. Today was an exception as I came upon a lone drummer and was able to explore this little oasis in the middle of the Tenderloin. What a great ethos! I love this pic of yours, it seems to convey all that is implied in that mission statement.

This is a fantastic image. It grabs and holds my interest. In the early seventies I remember walking past a bar called The Tacky Wench in my wanderings down there. I expect the Tenderloin has changed a lot since then. Its great to see that the arts are alive and well and tha some things never change.
