Description

Imery's lake, where I was yesterday. This is a fresh view, and in the distance, atop the hill, is a lookout where the majority of the lake is viewable. Most of the time it is very peaceful and although traffic in the far distance can be heard, it's a background sound which melts into oblivian when sitting by the lake. I'm always surprised that so few use the lake to walk around, fishermen being most in attendance and even they're not around as much as they once were. The lack of discarded nylon lines, hooks and lead weights are testement to that! Yesterday there was one lone Canada Goose paddling around who was quick to flap his way over to see what food I had! Barney was not impressed! The goose, however, was quite pleased with what I gave him. He was probably a day tripper from the huge lake adjacent to Par Sands. A fabulous place for hundreds of swans, geese, moorhens, coots - you name a webbed footed feathered person, and Par Lake is the place you'll find them!. *note to self - take some pictures of Par Lake* ^=^ Rain last night and this morning, though it's stopped now. It is most welcome! Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^

Lovely Cannot say I know the lake despite being born nearby! I assume Imery were a mineral extraction company and the lake was left over from that..
