Description

Yes, I'm foisting a D&D character portrait on you poor folks. This is my bard Dandelion, but you can just call her Dandy. I won't bore you with the long winded history of who she is and how she became such a cuddly individual. I'm cruel, but not that cruel. P The texture used is Surreality's Warrior Maiden Ashe (DAZ). The morph started out as one of Thorne & Sarsa's girls, but I made manual adjustments to the point of her not being particularly recognizable. Regardless, she got her start from Anarani for V4 with earrings from Elfin for V4 (DAZ). The outfit is Kimono Dress for V4 by WillDupre and MAB (DAZ). The textures are actually from the shader set by Bea called Shaders Revisited - China Series 1(HSS)(RDNA). The hair is Prilla Hair by SWAM and Zachrael2002 (Rendo). The grass and weeds are by Flink from the sets: Flink's Instant Meadow, Flink's Instant Meadow Weeds and Flink's Instant Meadow Weeds 2 (Rendo). The area where she's sitting is the Old Village Water Pump by Jack Tomalin (DAZ). The lights are from a couple of presets (Lights04 and Ambient 05) from Lantios Daytime Pack (DAZ) with an additional distance light set to add some highlights to her eyes and lips (white, no shadows, 50% intensity). The background is from a freebie set of Forest Backgrounds by Hendesse (thank you!).

I did do some postwork to get that look. I copied the original image three times. I set one of the layers to Watercolor and set it to a strength of 15%. I made the next layer Fresco and again set it to 15%. Then I blew the image up 500% and applied Posterize to it. I then shrank it down to its original size. I went back in with a blur brush to get rid of some of the black speckles that resulted from the Posterize process. I merged all of the layers and then applied Paint Daubs at a strength of 1 and 1.

cool scene and character - her surroundings look a little too sunny for a drow :)
