OH! A wooly-bear caterpillar! Haven't seen one of those yet this year. What is it they say? The more of the orange you see the more snow you're going to get? Or is it the black? I don't remember. Thanks for sharing.

I haven't seen one of them in years! It does occur to me that if he was 400' long, you'd be the one running for cover, but the question then is, would he have a camera?

I haven’t seen a woolly bear caterpillar since I was a kid. It will turn into an Isabella Tiger Moth, in the spring. As the myth goes, if brown stripe is wider than the black ends, the winter weather will be mild. But if the black ends are wider than the brown, the winter will be severe. Wonderful capture Mike.
