my mother found out today at the doc's her chemo would be too risky at this time for her age, the doc said the cancer could go either way and going through the chemo was not advised, very happy about that, just hope the doc's call is right. lol steve

Excellent birthday render Love all the details I hope they got all the cancer when they did the surgery....that would be fantastic for both you and her..........and I hope she makes a splendid full recovery.......wish they could do surgery for me......... You all will be still be continued in my prayers........and hope you keep saying them for me.......PetScan for me Thurs so probably won't be answering ebots and will turn notifications off for that day at 12 midnight.........my test isn't until 2pm....and nothing to eat or drink after midnight tomorrow..I can drink flavored water sugar free to take my meds.........the test at 2 and it takes 2 hrs to do the dang test........I will fall over from hunger.....esp for my favorite soft drink Ski..and gonna take a puff or two off a cig at least..if I can't have anything to eat or drink at least gonna enjoy a sneaky puff....LOL.....they take a gluclose test to test the sugar and if it is too high they re schedule it.........me would love for it to be too high LOL.......and then chemo Monday...all a bit too much going on for me...and it's got chilly here in old Ky............if I am cold now...hate to see me in Dec,Jan,and Feb....I won't warm up until the spring thaw of next yr LOL Great birthday render sweetie.......love the colors and detail....love her colorful pansy........sorry for the novel:( Hugs Susan~

good to hear the Doc thinks he can hold off on the chemo.... Cancer servivors seem to make it many more years than they use to. I like how you did a portrait yet not - it looks great this way - and I never thought green lipstick would look good = WRONG - that green lipstick is sexy - lol

this is a beautiful portrait, she's sexy and the lighting is beautiful on her. my mom is 4 years out from her cancer surgery and she had no chemo just radiation... she's doing fine. I wish the same good news for your mom, too.

Wow Steve, I gotta say my friend I think this is one of your best works ever. I really love how you framed this girl and how she is both in and out. Really a class act here, I think you put an extra effort into this work for many reasons. Hope the Doc's call is the right one. My dad is in the same boat right know. Doc says he is a poor candidate for surgery and so they are just gonna let it go. I am at peace with whatever will happen next. Take care.

They told my dad the same thing about the chemo. He's 91, and has a very good quality of life - I really don't think the chemo would be an advantage.
