Description

I don't usually explain my images. Mostly, they are self-declamatory--as in loudly proclaiming This one's different. There are four habitats: Bottom right... a modern highway; no obvious life Bottom left... a modern desert; life, depending on water availability Top left... fish die in acid, warming oceans Top right... A new kind of life, crawling from the ruins of the old. Same planet? Who knows? Top inset... Is that a human face? This is a distant descendant of Jen's superb Phase 1 spot. The cycle neverending (hopefully) Life comes forth, gains sentience intelligence (supposedly) paves his environment laying waste to that which is necessary for his continued existence killing himself in the Process and leaving the Planet either a wasteland or maybe to renew itself again. Peace

A warning Merren? A great pity the message does not appear to be getting through to the rest of the Western world. I think Gaia's work of regeneration is proving more difficult throughout the lifetime of this beautiful planet, but how long before we have to meet ourselves coming back to face the consequencies of our actions?
