Description
I had wanted to have an extreme DOP for this scene remembering the card playing scene in Barry Lyndon where Stanley K.. had used specially developed lens to film the scene in candle light only... but due to the size and complexity of the scene this was going to take too long to render so I had simply played with a bit of blur in photoshop to achieve a bit of this. I also decided to alter the color to a more aged/yellowing look that so many of us have become accustomed to before the masters started to be cleaned. Enjoy.. and as always zoom in.

Beautiful! I think your decision to not blur the image much was correct, as blurring would have obscured many of your wonderful details, and the old masters did not think about depth of field, anyway. Such a wonderful image!
