Description

Hi Everybody Many thanks for the kind words in my previous posting. This is what many poor people in the Cape Winelands call their home. Those of us lucky enough to have a job and to have more money, call it a shack. I saw the horse shoe which is upside down on the door and thought, if this guy was as superstitious as me he wouldn't have put it upside down... Thanks for looking and commenting. Regards Colene

This is a great capture and perhaps the poor family wouldn't know about horse shoe superstition!

Great choice to go with b/w for this one Colene! In the UK horse shoes are hung upside down too - the superstition goes that "the devil cannot then make a nest in them"!

Home Sweet home. I like your crop on this and the monotone - a bit of social commentary. You have sparked many thoughts in my head... Clive

Really an amazing pic Colene, and one that really wakes us up to the conditions so many are living in.
