The statues on the top of the capitol building are difficult to capture. You can't get very close to them and the sun is usually in the way but this is a great shot. The contrast is wonderful and the detail is vivid. Wonderful.

It must be quite tricky for a sculptor to get it all just right to be viewed from below and a distance. Great shot, very clever, especially with the backlight.
