My real name is Markus. I live in Germany in a little town between Chemnitz an Plauen - i don't think somebody knows ;-).
Last year I buy me a Nikon D40 and now I be able to take much more pictures as before. The macros I shared are all freehand-shots.

What a beauty! He reminds me of the ancient Egyptian god, Khephra (only Khephra was a dung beetle.) Marvelous colors and clarity. This is brilliant work as always and I love the subject. What a cooperative model. These guys are fairly common in Chicago too, but they don't stand still long enough to photograph. Great stuff!
