Description

After a little over a month of working on him, I do believe Link is complete. He is rigged an ready to go save Zelda from the evil Gannon. Well, I guess he can't really do that until they are made. So, he'll just be sitting on his ass playing his ocarina. DAMN! Gotta make an ocarina!!!

WOW! I'm a big Zelda fan aswell! Must have been very hard to model this and you pulled it off PERFECTLY! I agree about his ear-ring, I'm sure it's gold! Please can you post a pic of Link swinging the master sword with a sweet trail behind it!! That would kick ass! Excellent job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, perhaps the earring has a little too much diffuse. i wont complain about some of the mesh problems cause i love this model and dont want it to be changed. great work mon! :)(hope he finds a katana and slashes through some samurai's ;)) in the second zelda game on the nes he seems to have a dagger only, no sword. but in the first game he had a real big sword. the references seems mixed but you sure did a nice job :)

Thank you all! I feel so loved. My main reference was Super Smash Bros. Melee. His weapon is the Master Sword. Yes his sheild may be a bit thick (It actually was thicker before. I thinned it down). And if you look at Super Smash bros, his earing is blue, and no other color. I havn't really done too much in terms of texturing. I plan on it tho, but I'm not real good at textures. I can do basic projection maps and procedurals, but I can't do UV to save my butt, and he would definatly need a UV map to do some justice. Yeah, and the belt loop kinda made me mad, because it was fine before, but when I bent him forward, his loop went through the belt! I'll fix it tho. Thanks again for the input everybody!

Also, I notice that I need to make his hands bigger. What do you think?

I think the hands are fine. Overall, he is properly proportioned for a person of small stature with well developed muscles.

I don't care for the face at all, but everything else is perfect. It couldn't be better except for the face. The textures are right on. It looks just like a claymation.
