Description
Nothing too spectacular. Just a "beauty shot" of my Patrick Troughton-era Tardis model. Played with bryce5's depth of field focus thingy to try and make it look like a scale model shot.

Nice lighting, is that fake GI or just a spot or 2, or both?

It's fake. A little technique I saw on the web someplace. All objects in the scene are given a 50% diffusion, and a 50% reflection, plus a specular halo of pure 255 white. With Bryce5's new blurred reflections/transmissions and soft shadows turned on, the models reflect each other, and force a soft sort of lighting effect. It also provides for ambient color-reflecting, but it has trouble getting good strong shadows like you get from real GI or Radiosity, and colors are almost always severely muted.

Still, it's an interesting and potent effect! Great render...

Probably the best TARDIS model i've eveer seen. Neat Lighting trick too!
