Fantastic and regal capture. I have a herd of about 40 cows and babies that frequent where I live. If you're lucky you might view the Bull once or twice in 10 years or so. Last year, I was deeply saddened to see a huge bull who appeared to be just resting at the end of my road. He had been hit and killed by a semi-truck as he tried to cross I-5. That was about 8 months ago and I have not seen the herd since. I know they're still around but I just haven't had the opportunity to see them. What a magnificent sight it is when you do.

This is gorgeous. I have seen elk close up before and it always takes my breath away. This really shows off the glory of the animal. I only wish it was larger in zoom.
