I'm a painter, turned illustrator, turned designer from Seattle that now makes a living as a senior creative director in middle of the desert in Phoenix, Arizona. Life is strange to say the least. A few years ago I returned to painting, through traded my Winsor brushes and Golden Acrylics for Poser, Vue, and Photoshop, and have since resumed doing commercial illustration for a select clientele. I mainly work in 3D, but almost everything I do is overpainted until my wrist hurts as I just can't roll with squeaky clean stuff - it's not in my nature.
Recently my work has appeared in Ballistic Publishing's EXPOSÉ, was added to Steve Wozniak's personal art collection, been featured at MacWorld San Francisco and can soon be seen on limited edition tee's at Barney's New York and Fred Segal Los Angeles.
I'm married with three cats and can't seem to have less than ten Mac's in the house at any given time... you never know, I may need that bondi blue iMac for something one day ;)

My condolenses, she looks beautiful.

My condolences as well. As a cat lover, I have lost several dear cat-friends over the years, and I know full well what that feels like. By coincidence, I also had a cat named Tabitha who looked identical to your Tabitha, and by the sound of it she had a similar personality. Years later, I still miss her and think of her, as you will. At least time slowly diminishes the sense of loss. I suspect this loss will help you to cherish your two remaining cats all the more.

I can relate completely my friend, I too have a watch cat which loves to sit on me and the keyboard at times while I work and I know that it is something that won't be replaced. Cats are unique creatures, I am sorry for your loss, it's just like losing any other family member IMO. Take care.

I'm sorry for your loss - she seems to have been a loving and inspiring friend and family member. I always live with cats from my teen years and now share my home with a 19 year old male cat which sometimes tell me what or not to do... Best wishes, Rhanagaz aka Johnny

I'm so sorry to hear that you've lost you beloved fuzzy companion. It is never an easy thing to endure and I can offer no words other than to say that I have known the void that remains in their absence. I'll keep you and yours in my thoughts. Kindest regards, Niniri

She's got a strong face. But when the time comes, she'll remember you. She just gone ahead to make sure things were cool there and fix it if it's not.

God bless her little innocent soul.... my little render-buddy is sleeping by my iMac right now, just like this little gal.... she's waiting at the Rainbow Bridge, never fear.....

She looks full of personality and that wonderful cat combination of love and independence. My life has been touched by a number of cats and I would not trade those memories for anything.

They say "dogs have owners, cats have staff". Sorry to hear about this, best wishes.

I can empathize with your loss. Five years ago my beloved 19 year old tortie, Pingo died in my arms. She was my best friend and I still miss her. If it should be that I grow frail and weak And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then will you do what must be done, For this -- the last battle -- can't be won. You will be sad I understand, But don't let grief then stay your hand, For on this day, more than the rest, Your love and friendship must stand the test. We have had so many happy years, You wouldn't want me to suffer so. When the time comes, please, let me go. Take me to where to my needs they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end And hold me firm and speak to me Until my eyes no longer see. I know in time you will agree It is a kindness you do to me. Although my tail its last has waved, From pain and suffering I have been saved. Don't grieve that it must be you Who has to decide this thing to do; We've been so close -- we two -- these years, Don't let your heart hold any tears. Blessed Be

Ohh, I think there is nothing we can say to make you feel better :( .. I can only say I can imagine what you feel because your story reminds me of me and my dearest Micky boy, I also was a cathater (I only liked dogs) until I met Micky and he changed my life in such an amazing way I never thought it's possible! Now I have him for a year and I can't imagine my life without him :) I think the only think that someone can do after a tragic event like this, is to find another pet to try to focus the attention and energy on :) All my best thoughts, Ady!

beautiful cat - great shot and a great loss - i feel you and still remember myself the day when my cat passed away ... good you if you have other furry friends to keep you company in these sad times,

Jacob, Very sorry to hear about your loss. During the evacuation for Katrina hurricane, folks were told to leave their pets at home-- there was only room for humans. Many refused and stayed in New Orleans with their pets. Soon thereafter, Texas adopted a 'save the pet's too' campaign and now every animal receives a special id and is taken care of during emergency evacs. Our government understands how important our pets are us all. They are family.

beautiful photo of a beautiful friend. I know exactly how you feel - I lost my furry girl only a couple of days ago. I still have her sister who is wandering about the place looking for her. :( Such a wonderful photo.

I feel for ya. But not quite to the depth you might be. I have a cat in the last stages of her life. And the hole that will be there when she's gone will be deep I'm sure. Tabitha looks like she was a mello and serene cat. The loss, hopefully, is balanced by the pleasure she must have provided for those 15 years.
