Description

Another rendering this time with radiosity. I've compiled a page showing a comparison of the radiosity vs non radiosity renders, as well as the radiosity render dot distribution and render times. For those interested it can be viewed here: http://www.mvpny.com/LivingRoom9.html

Nice Image, but how do you come in that back door with the tree right in front ?

That's the porch door. The front door is opposite the stairway. BTW, I didn't make up the placement of any of these objects, I put them where the original inhabitants tell me they went, and as seen in original 1931 photos.

A beautiful pic, near photorealism! All is well done : models, textures and colors ...

Hey, this is the best livingroom render I have seen in a long time. Congrats to a great image. Very nice shadows (good lightning). :)))

hi i checked the link..and impressive how much radiosity could do for an image to look more realistic...but i have a problem with the light reflection on the left side! it seems that this is not direkt over the lamp, it could be my fault but i think this not the right place were this reflection should be...teach me when i'm wrong ;-) but anyway...very good picture...like the light and the scene! great job
