Description

As she stands at the edge of the city, she recharges her soul. And reflects on her Life, of caring, loving and raising her family; Ready for anything. I Love having so much to learn about ART. It means every day I can experience something new. With no real goals or aspirations, or direction for that matter, I'm free to experiment... In any direction, no? As the vast talent here continues to astound me, I truly feel like a VERY very small fish... Backgrounds are a real challenge for me! Thoughts and Comments always welcome... Hope someone enjoys ARC. A great way to spend a Sunday after a very trying day in a waiting room. As My 82 yr old Mother lays in the Hospital, after her surgery today, I ask: if anyone has a prayer to share, she may be in them. She has been the best MOM, as son could ask for... Her Heart is as big as the Universe is vast! Age is timeless, but the effects of age; unfortunantly are not... Till next time, Rick

Cool pic....and deep sentiment. My mom is the same age and feisty as heck.Yesterday she chose to be negative (again) about the concept of me not making $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ doing this CG stuff! When I was a kid ,I said to my dad who was an IBM programmer : "Dad would'nt it be cool if someday artists used computers to do art?" He went ballistic. He shouted like a madman He told me he would NEVER subsidize a kook like me.When he died he gave his money to others........so if your mom has been positive towards you and your creativity, then I have a prayer for the both of you. Stay creative, keep learning!

my heart goes out to you my friend, my mum is of a similar age and I count each day as a blessing. I hope she recovers quickly hugs and best wishes from australia now to the image....the lightning effect is used wonderfully here and has made this a very dramatic render well done friend Carl

Just read your top comment - wow... My Mother has been gone 10 years come Feb... You are very blessed to still have her in you life...I feel like a small fish here too... you should... there are thousands of artists here - lol... I create the things I want and it's all a learning experience.. as I finish a project I realize I can do something different. I like making backgrounds, but I really enjoy giving my characters poses and emotion = so everything else is just an extra. Chreating 3D items is a big goal and so much I have to learn and then animation. Spend a lot of time with your mother, ask questions you think you might want to know when she's gone... My Mother was an excellent cook - I miss her cooking big time - get that special recipe that you want... I hope she stays happy and healthy as long as she can.

Is the whale more beautifull then the guppy fish. Each has it own beauty and grace. When we learn we grow, not only our knowledge but also as person. The drawing made by a mothers child is a masterpiece compared to the Mona Lisa Enough rant from me. Great render my friend Much strength to you mother, you and rest of family. My prayers are with you all

excellent render besides the fine comment and also mikes add-comment. me too small fish. give your mom a fat hug will you,i lost mine i was 17 i dont know what is worse i you are young you might handle it more agressivley and cover it up with the burdens of daily life or if you have her for a very long time getting more and more "intime"spiritually and then comes the moment of departure.in any case all the nest rick. a fine render you did.

I really appreciate and encourage your attitude about doing art. I only do this because it is fun and relaxing for me. If I create something others enjoy, then it is a bonus. But the learning, the doing, the creating...its all a joy for me, and sounds like it is for you too. Bravo on that! Your image is wonderful...I love all the effects work! And my prayers for your mom...you are blessed to have her!
