This image of the Zodiac signs series is dedicated to all of you under the sign of Scorpio. It is a collage which put together a fodder field, a Murano glass scorpio, and a number of small, flat tin soldiers of my lead and tin soldiers collection. I hope you like it. Scorpio is the eighth astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Scorpius. Scorpio is considered a feminine, negative (introverted) sign. Traditionally, the planet Mars has been considered to be the ruler of Scorpio. But since its discovery in modern times, Pluto has been considered the primary ruler, with Mars as co-ruler. In Greek Mythology, the myths associated with Scorpio almost invariably also contain a reference to Orion. Scorpios are known for their intensity. They are determined folk that absolutely throw themselves into whatever they do. Scorpio's glyph, or symbol, looks like a letter M with a tail. Some believe the symbol represents the male genitals: the sign of Scorpio is strongly connected to sex. Solar Scorpios absolutely have their own mind. And, their primary motivation is unlikely to be prestige, or even authority - it's real power. Their power can absolutely be of the 'behind the scenes' variety, just as long as they have it. Scorpio isn't afraid of getting their hands (their bodies, their minds) dirty. The darker side of life intrigues them, and they are always ready to investigate. In dangerous situations and in sudden crises they remain cool and very determined. Representatives of this sign often become workaholics. They drive themselves hard, and usually drive others unmercifully. They despise weakness in themselves or in others. Usually these people are interested in marriage and long-term commitment.
