Dear little creature - what a long tail. Butterfly wings? I hope you found your Dad comfortable yesterday Cheryl? Did you leave him watching John Wayne?

Mom has lizards like this at her house. Here I usually see the little transparent Common House Gecko. I do try to catch them and put them outside, otherwise they become a toy for my cats. I can't always catch them though. I'm not as fast as my cats. Cute shot and lovely framing!

What a cute little critter, and such a looooong tail! The coloring on it is beautiful. Excellent capture! As to the background edges, I am reminded of brocade, particularly in the bottom half.

Well, since I'm going backwards in your gallery .. it isn't fair to guess what I already know, right? grins Love the little lizard-critter, you must be in Florida somewhere? We don't get these guys up north. But I gotta tell ya, went to a rather big local nursery looking for some flower pots, and out of the corner of my eye saw movement .. and when I started looking, there must've been a dozen of more of these guys! One of the employees said it's not unusual, they come in with the shipment of houseplants from Florida!! She said they don't live long though. Sigh. You'd think they would amongst the warmth and moisture and plants of the indoor portion of this nursery!
