Unfortunately I have only the unregistered version of Terragen. I used the highest possible resolution :-(

An other question, where do you get a ter (or dem) file from switzerland ?

In reality there are no such terraces existent. But I could not find better DEM-datas. I took the DEM-datas from the "Interactive Atlas of Switzerland" with a trick (screenshot). Unfortunately the atlas uses the Digital Terrain Model DTM25: Matrix model, interpolation of base model with 25 m to 200 m meshes!
