A once dare Eve reminding sinners not
One calendar will list their names among
The saved on ALL Saints Day … another grim
Reminder of two thousand years of Gloom-
And-Doomers screaming “Armageddon’s” just
Around the corner of tomorrow!” Not
Unlike our present TV prophets who
Earn millions promising a holocaust
Haunts at our doors. I rejoice that Halloween’s
Become a comic trick or treat where ghosts
On stilts are laughable and devil masks
Can’t hide those pious profiteers who claim
We’re blind to God anointing them to be
A Junior Jesus for crusader wars.

WELL written! I'm reminded of hearing two folks argue about Heaven & Hell recently. After a HEATED and LONG debate between the two, I piped in with MY feeble 'two cents' worth: "I think we're ALL DEAD and THIS is HELL". WINK. On a 'side note': I see the CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL in Garden Grove California is filing for bankruptcy. It seems the Long Time Reverend Robert Schuler and his son and FAMILY are FEUDING over the whole thing. What always SADDENED this DUMB old man GREATLY, was it cost MILLIONS to build this structure, while nearby, MANY were living in abject POVERTY. NOT a JESUS thingy to this old geezer. ~SIGH~ Lastly, I'm reminded of the phrase, "Beware of WOLVES in SHEEP's clothing". My BEST to you and yours.
