Description

Hi Everyone, here is a look at a Canada goose who for some reason felt the need to practice balancing on one foot. Sorry for the dark of the photo - the light was wrong and I was at full zoom and as close as I could be without disturbing these birds. A few moments later the birds turned and walked into the lake, showing without a doubt they both had two feet. Thanks for the views. -GB-

I love Canada Geese and have watched them just standing there, one foot tucked. I always thought it was their way of keeping warm, but honestly I don't know. Lovely image!

I see these guys do this all the time, you wouldn't thing that little skinny leg would hold him up, maybe it's there way of showing of LOL, very nicely done in tough conditions!
