This is a bit of an update. From humble beginnings my photography is steadily improving.I started out with a Kodak point and shoot camera and progressed to a Sony A-200 Digital SLR camera.Other equipment that i currently have is the following: Tamron 70-300mm lens. Wonderful image! You know, I have sat next to a bunch of these nests not too long ago, and all the birds were afraid to go into their nests. I gave up, and I can see you didn't. This is a great capture. The funny thing is, the female will sometimes come to the nest and destroy it just because one little grass is not in it's place. LOL Women...guess they are always difficult. ;)

Ag its beautiful Christo. Congrats on the lense...nothing like a new toy hey? Try to set your f stop a littler bigger - more to f2.4 (if you can), to delete more of your background. And your focus point not in the middel - the rule of thirds.... (i'm just sharing what we have learned...!) Great shot.
