Description

You may have noticed that a few images were posted in what may be described as in an angry tone. For that I apologise. It is my belief that the pictures that I present to you are what I see and that if you were with me when I took those pictures, that is what you would see as well. So for me to enhance the photo, that is fiddle with the contrast and/or the saturation is, in my mind presenting somthing to you that does not exist. when I do postwork, it is either the image needs it drastically, at which point I will use some extreme PW to change the image to improve it or because of personal ideas, in either case though, the image is non-recognisable as the original. Again, I apologise to all of you Mike PS no postwork here except to put my name to it

Love the shot. Never apologize;(it's a sign of weakness, or so my retired Marine husband says). Lol Your art is yours to do what you want with...I always enjoy it, and have never felt anything but admiration for you.

no matter how costly a camera is, it can only capture what it is directed to see.a less expensive point and shoot is limited on it is directed to see and it's inherent limitations.putting limitations aside, composition is a big factor in having a good shot, and either camera can be utilized for composition if you enjoy what you have captured as being a fair representation of what your eyes has led you to comprehend, then make yourself happy. if the viewer sees something of merit, then they can enjoy also

Cool shot. Personally, I hate over-postworked shots.

I do not think you ale of ingratitude towards your efforts to show us your ideas my friend. Just the mad make up the error of their frustrations. I do not believe you to be part of these énergumaines there. Lol?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...I for one choose to see it in almost every way I can....nothing you have ever done has precluded that! Another nice capture here too!

I missed something too! I like the way you express yourself in a multiple way (Poser/Daz, fractals photo, photomanipulation..). Don't care of SOBs (if someone hurt you). Like the picture and the shadows!

Mike, the important thing to remember is that when we take a photo or do a render it only has to please us and then if it pleases others as well then that is great. But I do my renders for me first and it has to be that way with you and your photos. I do appreciate it when someone is critial of it and can maybe point out a better way to do something but if thay don't like it, oh well I didn't asked them to look in the first place. You just keep on doing what you do and keep being you my friend !!

I actually went back to look to see if there were some uploads I missed because I was clueless as what you were talking about - actually I still am. Guess I, like most everyone else, didn't get the angry part. Oh well. Speaking of post-work, Photoshop could easily make the above water look a lot clearer, LOL.

That's certainly a lot clearer than our river, we got one you can cut up and chew. Still...I like the slightly silty look, and the way it diffuses light and shadow.

No need for an apology sir, we like your art for arts sake, not like a magazine chick thats been airbrushed to perfection because thats an illusion and not true to life. BTW this render is really cool. :0)

I agree with everybody above but Savage_dragon said it best - "Never apologize for self expression. Real or imagined". Like Wayne, I went back and saw nothing no anger - unless you deleted something. Like this capture so I'll just say "rock" on my friend. Dana

post your work as you want the world to see it. no need to say you're sorry in the art world; everyone has different tastes on what is beautiful. I like your photos any way you present them.

I didn't pick up on any anger in your posts. They all seem very well conceived and most excellently delivered! Just keep on being true to yourself, Mike, and you can't go wrong!

Love the title, it goes perfectly with the image .. and your comments. Love the image as well. The shadows on the water are perfect, and still the rocky bottom shows quite clearly. Each of us uploads what we see in our mind's eyes .. and not everyone agrees. That's their right, just as it is your right to post what you choose as being the expression of your thoughts or moods .. or experience of that time. I like photos that are 'au naturel', but like the postworked ones as well. I didn't detect any anger either Mike, and to tell you the truth, I cannot make up my mind which of those two photos I like better. Each conveys a different mood, and each is beautiful. So you keep posting what YOU like, and remember, there are always those that feel the need to criticize bluntly, or unkindly, or even unthinkingly. Ignore them.

Mike take no offence I just make suggestions from time to time. But no need to follow them to the letter or ar all If you the image you post is the desired effect or result than I will leave well enough alone unless you specifically ask for help or technical critisim or suggestions. Chris
