Description
This is an experiment. I have a reproduction of a wooden work by Diederick Kraaijeveld and tried to do a digital/virtual variation of his style. I chose James Randi as a subject, I admire his work. I am not totally satisfied, I think the depth in the resulting work should be more in line with the actual depth of the face.
I used Photoshop, Illustrator, Swift 3D (to generate the 3ds files with color information), Carrara and Photoshop to make this.
I think the colors are a tad boring, I want a wilder pallet. But I think I want to make series out of this.
