My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Cool reflections. I figured it was an airplane but I couldn't quite imagine the POV until I read your commentary. Thanks for sharing.

Hehe - flat as Kansas.... Well at least till you get to the Flint Hills.... LOL! Excellent capture, Tara! Love how take just a tiny piece of something and make art out of it! Of couse there are those of us that consider a P-51 to be a work of art anyway, but still.... Superb!

Wow, looks like the topside, with rain on it! Great shot. Watch out for iffy weather on the way back, weird happenings all over the place!

I saw the thumbnail to this and was immediately reminded of home...er, I mean Prague. Cobblestones, ya know! And then when I actually looked at the title, a song popped to mind. Under the Wing by Bear McCreary, from season three of Battlestar Galactica. Betcha were wondering when I was gonna make another BSG reference! Well...there it is, and in case you were wondering, "Under the Wing" sounds like THIS. And all of this is to say that I love this image for all that it conjures in my mind and makes me remember, feel, and dream of. The light and metallic sheen are absolutely perfect. This is amazing work, So say we all!

This takes shiny metals to a new level:) It does have a liquid feel to it. Wonderful composition and lighting.
