Hi there. Like I said last week, on a stroll when I took some shots this summer I was attacked by some tiny vampires. I walked a small path near a small pond as I recognized a prick on my leg. I looked down and saw a midge, no - some midges trying to get my blood. As I lift my left hand there where one of them, stinging my skin...I raised the cam slowly as possible and took some shots. There where too much light of the flash, I know, but I was not able to check the settings because of I liked to manage a caught-in-the-act-shot of the midge. I show you this shot and another tomorrow from the front of the bad and ugly insect. Finally I killed her - Vengeance is sweet. I got about 20 mosquito bites in 10-15 minutes. Hope you will excuse me killing one of them. ]:->

You do take your craft to an extreme length! Well done on getting the capture. This is why I love geckos and jumping-spiders around the house to keep the blood-suckers in check! Cudos, Clive
