Les deux équipes d'explorations du MAUSOLEUM, traversèrent des 'salles' ,bien dégradées, où des pans entiers de structures, s'amoncelaient, alors que rien n'indiquait une catastrophe de l'extérieur. Par contre, lorsque les cosmonautes atteignirent la zone opposée à celle par où ils étaient entrés, ils découvrirent une situation inimaginable dans cette région. Le bolide spatial se rapprochant de la surface de Neptune, à l'intérieur du satellite artificiel, avait subit une accélération cinétique prévisible, et dispersa une partie de l'énergie ainsi acquise, en faisant brutalement monter la température intérieure de cette zone du Mausolée...et un effet inverse de l'assemblage initial, avait désolidarisé des éléments de la structure, qui, ici, commençaient sérieusement à sa déliter, provoquant inexorablement une destruction progressive du Mausolée...et de tomber par la force d'attraction universelle, dans une des mers de la Planète bleue !!!
