that is freakin' awesome... I used to play a mech game on the PC that I used to love... haven't been able to find a good one for my PC or 360 :( awesome pic! :)

I know John Malis did some mechs and a Madcat was one of them. I miss Battletech as well. I think I might eventually look for my old stuff and teach my wife how to play.

Love those Madcats! This model is a John Malis conversion of a Pawel Czarnecki model, and extremely well done, too. Battletech was, and still is, an excellent game. I still enjoy reading through the old manuals.....sigh. Great work on this pic, my friend. Hope you do some more!

I think it would make a killer movie. I also think Battletech could be an excellent MMORPH. Think of it starting in 3025. The only issues would be the Marauder, Rifleman, Crusader, Longbow and Warhammer. Those got tied up in a legal dispute and had to be re-designed. I actually am going to play a game Sunday afternoon. I haven't played any war game in years, But the last sole surviving member of our old wargaming group is up for it. So we're dusting off the mechs for grins. I think the Madcat model in my old runtime inspired it.

Nice texturing work ;) Have had major BT withdrawls myself, Lately been doing "Invasion 3042" If interested there is a BT Similar MMO being dev'd right now "Force Of Arms"
