A special thanks is due to the many great Renderosity artists who gave me advice on this one. I hope everyone is pleased with the final. This is a Poser ProPack render with postwork done in Photoshop 6.

Thanks, everyone! TalonGE, I remember the Bobby Bare song well, but sadly it doesn't do the historical Marie justice. She was actually known for her beauty, yet the voodoo queen in the Country song is described as "an ugly witch." Go figure. ;0 } Another historic oddity: There were actual two Marie Laveaus. The original's daughter (who was said to look identical) took up where the mother left off, but they said she never had the charisma nor wit of the original.
