The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Lander...;)

Caught between a planet and a moon. Hm, a bit long, huh? Fantastic image and lighting! Love the terrain! Corrie

Great composition and terrainwork.

This is really great stuff, I like how small the lander looks in the crazy terrain of an icy moon. As for a title, how about "It may fly like a brick, but I hope we don't land like one!" Okay, that's too long. Since I've been drawing inspiration from the wonderful writings of Chipka, how about something more poetic: "Only the Beginning". Great stuff!

Yup, pretty awesome test. That texture is really very good.

Really wonderful render! Love the lighting and textures. As far as a title how about "Jupiter Rising". :)

Stunning render and I'm definitely adding it to my favs! That is an amazingly realistic looking moon surface, too. I'm usually pretty good at titles, but one once I'm at a loss. Sorry!

Superbly lit and textured image David!

Most of the titles I can thing of are somewhat cheesy, but here's a few ideas to play with: "Pioneers" "Alien Horizons" "One more step" "Reaching for history"

Very nice terrain! By the color of the rock, I'm guessing you're at Ganymede or Callisto. No nice landing zone in the picture, so how about "Rough Approach"?

your sense of realism again teaches me to look beyond and dream of future travels... stellar work (no pun intended)!! title.... "We do what we must, we are travellers"

I actually kinda suck at titles but I love this image. The terrain looks wonderfully rugged and sufficiently alien and I love the way stuff like rocks and ices tend to look alien when looked at outside of the average, everyday context. I particularly like the lighting in this as well as the scale. Everything looks so incredibly huge and that lander looks about as frail as an eggshell...but then it's human built and so it will (of course) reflect the frailty of its builders. And as for titles, well...I always fall back to a tv commercial I saw a long time ago for something like York Peppermint Patties or some product like that. It featured your average White, middle-class, US-American couple going on and on about the virtues of the product in question, and the wife felt that the name of the product didn't reflect her feelings of the said product. The punch-line of the commercial featured her taking a bite of the chocolate/minty stuff and declaring that she got it! and the name of the stuff should be "Majestic Interlude." For some reason, I've always wanted that to be the title of something and though it's incredibly tacky, I kinda like that title. Now as for whether or not you should use it for this...well...who knows. And as I've been doing a bit of writing tonight, and titles are spinning through my mind. I suppose that one potential good title for this could be: The Children of Jove...or maybe not.
