think yesterday was Halloween- its new in our region- but yesterday evening about all ten minutes the ring bells and the child asked for sweeties.... have nothing more at home!
thats new - we are not used this custom- is it fun?? the little ones ares eating the hole day sweeet -- i am so glad that my children are growing up!! Happy Halloween to you all!

That's a really cool capture, I'm always fascinated by skulls and bones (my anthropology and archeology training, no doubt) and the stories they tell. Halloween in the US is becoming quite a big deal, and it sounds like it's expanding overseas, too. I like the costuming up more than anything else. This shot fits well with the day, it's a very interesting photo.

I often wonder why parents go out and buy 3 bag of sweets to give to children at the door and then send their own kids out to beg for the neighbors' candy. Why not just buy the bags of candy for their own kids and keep them at home with a treat that mom and dad give them? :-) But then, what about dressing up and pretending to be something they imagine they want to be? Great shot. Not sure of the actual size of this skull but the beak looks predatory.

The almost sepia effect suits this composition, it appeals to me - but not the begging kids at 'trick or treat' night ! Wir wohnen so hoch auf einem Berg, keiner findet uns hier ... haha ! well done Priska, BB
