Thalas pulled Taia up onto his lap, holding her so tight, if it were any tighter he'd crush her. She allowed this for a couple moments, then smacked at his arms until he let her loose. "too Tight" she complained, and slid down on his knee, content to dangle at arms length. "what do you remember?" he asked her. Her doe brown eyes rolled up to look at him and her lower lip pootched just enough to be adorable as she thought. He'd forgotten how damn cute she'd been at that age.
