Description

It's been a long time since I've posted here. For my birthday a couple of weeks ago I got a camera of my very own - a Canon PowerShot S95. It is the perfect camera for someone trying to learn more than the "point and shoot" method. My first subject is another carnivorous plant from my collection. This type goes by the names pitcher plant, monkey cups and nepenthes. I love pitcher plants because of the contrast between the hard and shiny lip, and the soft fuzzy body. Thanks go to theSeekerr for cropping advice and for helping me choose my new camera ;p Enjoy :D

It surely looks predatory! You'll do well with your new camera, if this is any indication.
